Dean moved to Gainesville in 2021, taking over the Sales Department for the TownePlace Suites in 2022, first as Sales Manager and later as Director of Sales. He is also active in the community serving the Alachua County Hospitality Council, first as Social Media Manager, then as Vice President, before his current role as sitting President. Dean has also served the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals, as Connect Chair for 2 years, and currently as the group’s Historian working to build communities within the city. In addition, he served on the Membership Committee for the Builder’s Association of North Central Florida, and was named rookie of the year for 2024. Dean also spends his time serving various Non-Profits with volunteer hours, support, and mentoring students through the Education Foundation, and Take Stock with Children.
